The Chusan Hotel was the original hotel constructed, which had stood on this site since 1849 after which later was rebuilt in 1871. At the flip of the century the London Hotel was in-built 1909 for the sum of £7,000 by the proprietor Harry C. Sims.

From Albany Visitor Centre, return to the Roundabout on the prime of York Street and take exit to Middleton Beach Road. Follow this till one road before the beach, then turn proper into Marine Tce, then left into Barnett St. We are on the left half way alongside, ie. three Kms east of town centre down Middleton Beach Road on the nook of Adelaide Crescent and Golf Links Road. Follow Albany Highway by way of two roundabouts, to the center of town. Once you arrive on the third roundabout take the second exit onto St Emilie Way.
– Ace motel went out of their way to accomadate our Shirley tour group travelling with Xfactor tours. We had 3 nights at motel and staff were very pleasant and helpfull…. Read extra Food was very good, we had buffet style breakfast and set night meal. Would highly suggest this motel, not 5 star but distinctive worth.
